PCB to seek government permission over World T20 paticipation

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday has decided to approach Federal Government for permission over participation in World T20 which is due to held in India this year, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to sources, PCB will write a letter to Interior Ministry next week for an official permission to visit India.

PCB officials stated that the government only directed to take permission before deciding on World T20 however, the series will be played during March and April of this year.

Earlier today, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Anurag Thakur ruled out the possibility of an Indo-Pak bilateral series this year, stating that no such series is scheduled in Futures Tours and Programme (FTP) calendar.
