PERTH: Indian batsmen gave confident start to their team in the opening game of One Day International series against Australia at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth on Tuesday.
Indian skipper MS Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bat first. Left-handed Indian opener Dhawan failed to give a good start and lost his wicket after scoring just nine runs but Rohit Sharma and Kohli build a partnership of 63 runs and still facing the Kangaroos bowling attack.
Hazlewood was the man who took the wicket of Indian opener and gave the break through to his team.
