KARACHI: Star Pakistani middle order batsman Umar Akmal has been caught into yet another controversy after exchange of few harsh words with team coach Basit Ali during the final of Quaid-e-Azam Cricket Trophy at National Stadium in Karachi, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from local Sports channel.
The controversial cricketer was furious over sudden change of his batting order on the third day of the day/night Test match by the coach.
A local TV channel quoted a source saying that that Umar Akmal and Basit Ali exchanged heated words in the dressing room and at one stage Umar Akmal tried to hit the coach. However, he was prevented by team mates.
