ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that there is no solid reason to arrest cleric of Lal Masjid, Maulana Abdul Aziz, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

Federal Minister taunted that Maulana Abdul Aziz is running religious school in Islamabad before the government of  Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Earlier Nisar claimed that the government and clerics’ bodies have agreed on registration of seminaries and syllabi.

While talking about non-governmental organizations (NGO) during his address in National Assembly of Pakistan, he said that “Hundreds of NGOs were functioning in the country and the ministry has taken necessary measures to keep a check.”

He said that an online registration form was issued for the NGOs. At least 127 NGOs have applied for registrations in the recent past, he added.
