LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has put his weight behind young Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir as Khan thinks that he has served his punishment and now he should get the second chance to prove himself.
He was talking to a Pakistani local TV channel and said that “I am very saddened by the fact that there are people who oppose giving Mohammad Amir a second chance”
“I have been asking people to stand up to corruption in this country for a long period of time but it seems that all that hinges on a 23 year old boy and to stop him from playing”
“He has served his time and even Allah SWT is merciful and we should also follow that route and allow him back.”
