QUETTA: Acting according to the terms of Muree agreement, Chief Minister Balochistan has tendered his resignation to Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai on Wednesday. The Governor has accepted his resignation as well.
After the resignation of CM Balochistan, Speaker Balochistan Assembly has also presented his resignation to Balochistan Secretariat.
As per sources, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has given his resignation citing personal reasons after consulting his party. In addition to the Speaker, Deputy Speaker has also tendered his resignation.
Balochistan Assembly will call its session tomorrow where it is expected to elect its Speaker and Deputy Speaker. It is pertinent to mention here that according to Murree agreement, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri will become the next Chief Minister.
