KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Team Twenty20 (T20) captain Shahid Khan Afridi has reportedly excused from Karachi and Islamabad franchises to play for them in Pakistan Super League (PSL) first edition.
According to famous sport journalist Mazher Arshad, Afridi has requested Karachi and Islamabad franchises no to pick him player-draft which will be hold on 21-22 December at National Cricket Academy Lahore.
On the other hand, Islamabad United head coach, Dean Jones had expressed his desired to include Shahid Afridi in his team.

However, no official announcement from any franchise has been made regarding the issue.
Afridi himself has bee’out of reach’ to comment on this news.
