ISLAMABAD: Controversial Pakistani off spinner Danish Kaneria and world famous slogger Imran Nazir will celebrate their birthday on Wednesday December 16.
Danish Kaneria will celebrate his 35th birthday. A right-arm leg spinner known for his well-disguised googly, Kaneria holds the record for most international wickets by any Pakistani spin bowler.
He is fourth on the list of bowlers with most Test wickets for Pakistan, behind only fast bowlersWasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Imran Khan.
Kaneria was the second Hindu and seventh non-Muslim overall to represent Pakistan in International cricket after Anil Dalpat.
While Imran Nazir will celebrate 34th birthday of his life on December 16. Imran Nazir is a Pakistani cricket aggressive opening batsman who plays in the Pakistan national cricket team in Test cricket, One Day International and Twenty20 cricket formats.
Nazir made his debut in Test cricket in March 1999 against Sri Lanka at Lahore in Pakistan, and his One Day Internationaldebut against the same opposition at Visakhapatnam in India. He played in 8 Test matches between 1999–2002 and secured a spot in the Pakistan squad since 2002.
