KARACHI: Tension between Federation and Sidh government has reached to its hight after federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan held a press conference in which he hinted to use any of the four options available to Center.
While talking to media Nisar said, “We have three to four options if Sindh government doesn’t resolve this issue amicably and maturely,” Nisar said. “If Rangers are forced to speak out, the whole nation will stand behind them,” he said.
Talking about the issue on Geo TV, senior journalist Saleh Zafar stated that, “One of the four possible option to keep law and order situation intact, federation may endorse its power to impose Governor rulein Sindh.”
“It may be the last option, but if needed be, they won’t refrain from going this far,” he added.
Famous rancher person Shahzaib Khanzada also shaded some light on the matter by saying that “Federal govt is not going to withdraw Rangers from Karachi at any cost, while PPP wants to worsen it more to fetch out political advantages.”
He went on to say that it is plus point for federation and Rangers MQM has backed Rangers presence in Karachi and Karachi operation.
Mean while, senior PPP leader Shehla Raza has issued another controversial statement right after Chaudhary Nisar’s press conference that “Do not scare us [PPP government], show the video, provide us with proofs, it is quite possible that we can extend Rangers operation even more than before.”
Earlier, interior minister Pakistan Chaudhary Nisar , in response to a question, had threatened to make public a video recording of Dr Asim Hussain about his confessions.
“I am still hopeful that the matter will be resolved amicably,” said Nisar.
