Salman Khan freed from ‘Hit and Run’ case

MUMBAI: Mumbi High Court on Thursday has freed the Bollywood superstar from ‘Hit and Run’ Case, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from Indian media.

According to details, Salman Khan has been freed from all kind of all allegations related to the subject.

According to Indian media reports, the HC judge AR Joshi announced verdict shortly after the accused appeared before court.

Salman Khan cannot be convicted on the basis of presented evidences and witnesses, not matter what does the common man thinks about the verdict, the court said.

During the hearing on final day, the judge noted that prosecution had failed to prove that Salman Khan was driving the vehicle or if he was drunk at that time or not. Khan’s former bodyguard Ravinder Patel was the only person to testify against him of being drunk which is not trust worthy, he said.

In the early hours of September 28, 2002, the actor’s Toyota Land Cruiser crashed into five men sleeping outside the American Bakery in Bandra. One person, Nurullah Sharif, died and four were injured.

Dictating its verdict in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Bollywood star Salman Khan, the Bombay High Court on Wednesday observed that prosecution had failed to prove that the actor had consumed liquor and was driving the Toyota Land Cruiser when the mishap occurred.

The dictation of the verdict on Khan’s appeal, which continued for the fourth day has came to an end on Thursday when Khan has been acquitted of all kind of allegations and accusations
