LAHORE: Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar has refused to play Master Champions League due personal reasons, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Shoaib Akhtar on Saturday refused to play the MCL because of his personal commitments.
Pakistan’s legendary cricketer, who featured in the Cricket All Stars Twenty20 tournament in the United States recently, wished MCL good luck and all the best.
International Cricket Council (ICC) already gave approval to MCL. Total of six teams playing in the Twenty20 format.
In MCL, retired cricketers will be in action again and the charming event will start on January 28 next year, and will go on till February 14.
