LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau Punjab has galvanized into action and began garnering evidences against Provincial Education Minister Rana Mashood for his alleged involvement in corruption and financial embezzlement in the Punjab Youth Festival.
NAB raided Punjab Sports Board today and seized all the records.
The NAB also received complaints against the minister for his alleged role in financial irregularities in the PYF.
Meanwhile, sources in the Punjab government informed that provincial government could seek resignation from its minister if NAB inquiry kicks off against him.
The minister, however, has denied allegations against him and said he would take legal action against Malik who plundered millions of rupees from people through deceptive means.
