KARACHI: Security forces stopped the protest march of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) at Numaish Chowrangi heading towards Rangers head-quarters on Thursday.
MQM workers are protesting against the Rangers operation in Karachi. Protesters were heading towards Rangers head-quarters when police sealed the road leading to the Rangers Headquarters by placing containers and following rows with the police, MQM workers have staged a sit-in protest at the Chowrangi.
According to details, a large number of demonstrators showed up for the rally and MQM Coordination Committee’s senior leaders including Dr Farooq Sattar are leading the rally on motorcycles.
