“Schools will remain closed tomorrow”

KARACHI: Protesting Sindh teachers welcomed with baton-charge and water canon near Red Zone area in Karachi, have announced to keep all the schools closed tomorrow (26 November) across the province, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Earlier, police resorted to baton-charge on teachers protesting in pursuance of their demands in the red zone near Chief Minister House

The teachers were heading towards the CM House to lodge their protest when they were stopped by the law enforcement agencies.

Failing to negotiate with the incensed teachers, police baton-charged and also used water canon to disperse them.

Tension prevailed in the area following the clash between the law enforcement agencies and the protesters.
