LAHORE: Pakistan scandalicious batsman Umar Akmal who was suspended from Pakistan Twenty 20 squad and Central Contract for being allegedly caught from dance bar in Hyderabad, has submitted a detailed reply to all the allegations he was labelled.
In a detailed response to Pakistan Cricket Board’s show cause notice, Akmal denied all the allegations against him and termed them a propaganda and a media trial.
Akmal was served a show cause notice for violation of Central Contract.
Umar,in his reply was of the opinion that he went out for a dinner that night, but he had informed team manager.
Umar Akmal further confessed that he went out for dinner that night but returned in time and was not involved in any of such activities reported by media.
SSP Hyderabad police, Irfan Baloch has also stated on media that Umar Akmal was not among the players who were caught from dance bar.
