LAHORE: Head of PCB Executive Committee Najam Sethi claimed that issue of Umar Akmal will be solved in couple of days.
According to details, senior journalist Najam Sethi said that he sent his ‘Sparrow’ to solve the issue of young cricket Umar Akmal.
Earlier, Umar Akmal was dropped from team on PCB chairman’s orders.
Chief Selector Haroon Rasheed also confirmed the news that he was finallised for the 15-men squad but was dropped after PCB chairman after PCB chairman ordered.
Umar, who plays from SNGPL, was in Hyderabad for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match against Hyderabad Region.
Reason of Umar Akmal’s drop is told that he was arrested by locla police during a raid in dance club, where he, former under 19 captain Azeem Ghumman and another Hyderabad Region’s player were arrested.
