RAWALPINDI: General Raheel Sharif met with Pakistan Army team which recently returned after participating and winning Gold Medal in “Exercise Cambrian Patrol” held in UK from 15-25 October.
He appreciated the team for their commendable achievement in winning the coveted trophy and keeping Pakistan’s flag high. A total of 120 teams including India, participated in the event known as one of the toughest field exercise for any military.
Cambrian Patrol is a physically challenging, arduous exercise which concentrates on teamwork for achieving the mission. The exercise was carried out in Wales, UK across jungles, water obstacles and mountains testing leadership, self-discipline, courage and determination of the participants.
Pakistan Army team was led by Captain Tauseef and clinched gold medal.
