Iqbal Day holiday still uncertain

Holidays

ISLAMABAD: An unclear stance regarding public holiday on Iqbal Day  (November 9) from federal government has created a vogue condition among parents and private schools.

Government has changed its statement three times on this issue declaring public holiday, taking the decision back and then retracting older decision.

Even now, a clear notification regarding the holiday has not been issued so far.

Many private schools, following older notification have announced a day off to school, but the situation got confused when next statement from interior ministry office denied the holiday.

Supreme Court of Pakistan had restored all the public holidays in its verdict, but federal government has once again made a mockery out of it.
