Four children die in Sahiwal as van plunge in canal

SAHIWAL: Four children drowned and six others were rescued when a van plunged into the Bari Doab  canal on Friday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to rescue sources, Ali Raza and his family were returning after visiting a graveyard when the their van plunged into Lower Bari Doab Canal.

Rescue 1122 officials rushed to the venue and fished out four men and women, and six children.

The victims were shifted to DHQ Hospital where Arman (3), Saadia (1), Shuaib (3) and  Zunair (1) died.

The condition of Farzana (25), Adila (30), Rehana (32), Ali Raza (35), Zohaib (3) and Chahat was stated to be out of danger.

The family is resident of Bashir Colony.
