ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday announced fresh date of by-election in NA-154.
According to details, ECP announced that re-poll in constituency of Lodhran will be held on December 23 this year.
General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Jahangir Khan Tareen won the case in Election Tribunal and Supreme Court also ordered for re-poll in NA-154.
As per schedule, Returning Officer will receive nomination papers by the candidates between November 19 and 20. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on November 26 and 27, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from Dunya News.
Last date for filing of appeals against decisions of the Returning Officer regarding rejection or acceptance of nomination papers to be submitted on November 30.
Moreover, revised list of the candidates will be published on December 8 and polling will be conducted on December 23, 2015.
