ISLAMABAD: Reham Khan has explained that divorce between her and Imran Khan is not done yet, they have just decided to part ways with mutual consent.
Reham also explained that if divorce is not then ‘Iddat’ (is the period a woman must observe after the death of her spouse or after a divorce, during which she may not marry another man) is something which is out of question.
Reham talked about this to senior anchor person of ‘Abb Tak’, Pakistani local news channel, then Abb tak officials visited Jamia Mosque Banoria’s Mufti Naeem to gather information about this incident as per Sharia.
Mufti said that the divorce has been announced by spokesman of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) which is not acceptable according to Shariah law and said Imran Khan’s explanation is compulsory for this matter.
He further said that yet no one has claimed 3 divorces and if the divorce between both has done then ‘Iddat’ is compulsory.
It is to be kept in mind that Reham Khan tweeted last Friday that they have decided to part their ways with mutual consent.
