LB polls 2015: Presiding Officer in Gujrat UC-6 dies on duty

GUJRAT: Presiding Officer Mohammad Sharif posted at Gujrat’s  UC-6  suffered a heart attack during polling, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to a local TV reports, Presiding Officer Mohammad Sharif who was performing duties on Gujrat’s UC-6, suffered a severe heart attack, police personnel deployed on UC, huried him to near by hospital but he could not resist the pain and passed away.

Polling has been stopped in the polling stations.

Earlier, polling process stopped as clash between PTI supporters in Gujrat,  PTI workers accused police of helping a person who allegedly used fake CNIC to cast vote.
