DUBAI: Pakistan’s most reliable cricketers Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan put Pakistan team on driving seat in the second Test match of three match series at Dubai.
Younis Khan and Misbah ul Haq destroyed the bowling lineup of English bowler and put them on back foot. Green Shirts took the lead of 358 runs on visitors.
Pakistan team scored 222 three runs with the lost of three wickets before day three stumped. Misbah ul Haq scored 87 and Younis Khan 71 runs and remain unbeaten on third day.
Earlier, three Pakistani batsmen lost their wickets in quick time but Younis Khan and King Misbah is still on the crease. Misbah who scored century in last inning, joined Khan of Mardan after the dismissal of Mohammad Hafeez.
Professor lost his wicket after scoring 51 runs. Younis Khan is still on the crease and he scored 30 runs so far. Before tea break, Pakistan team scored 92 runs with the lost of three wickets.
Shan Masood ho scored half-century in last inning, failed to gave decent start to Pakistan team. James Anderson took the wicket of Shan Masood for the fourth time in a row.
Shoaib Malik replaced the Shan Masood and joined the crease with Mohammad Hafeez but he also lost his wicket after scoring 7 runs.
Deadly bowling by Pakistani paceman Wahab Riaz and leg spinner Yasir Shah has spoiled England side and wrapped up their 1st innings at 242 runs in 2nd Test at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
