Pakistan vs England 2nd Test: Visitors lose two early wickets

DUBAI: In response to Pakistan first innings of 378 runs, England have got themselves in trouble after losing two early wickets on just 14 in second of three-match Test series at Dubai Stadium, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

 

Update: England 29-2, Joe Root on 1 and Cook on 15 on the crease.

Earlier, Pakistan started second day with 282 for 4 on the board ans lost skipper straight away, Misbah was stuck leg before wicket on 102.

Sarfraz Ahmed then joined Asad Shafique and added 53 valuable runs before falling to Moeen Ali on 32.

Pakistan than changed gear and every next batsman looked to slog like it was a T20 match, loosing wickets consequently. Pakistan were all out on 378. Asad Shafiq was the last batsman to fall for Pakistaan, he scored valuable 83 runs.

Pakistan lost 6 wickets for 96 to in the morning session of second Test; it’s more than a hill of beans, of course, but most had expectations of something in excess of 400, if not another 523 for 8 declared.

Moeen Ali and Mark Wood picked up four of the wickets to fall but England’s attack all put in the hard yards to rein Pakistan back in.
