ANKARA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu during his three-day visit to Turkey.
According to ISPR, the two high-ups discussed issues of mutual interest and regional security.
“The army chief also visited War Academy, and exchanged views with participants on Pakistan’s successful experience of fighting terrorism,” ISPR said.
During his visit, the COAS has also met Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, President Tayyip Erdogan, Defenece Minister and others separately.
