Pakistan vs England 1st Test: Misbah win toss, elects to bat first

toss

ABU DHABI: Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has decided to bat first after winning the toss in the first Test match against England, here at Sheikh Zayd Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

It will be a real test Shahhens, as this time they come with a far less experienced side and Misbah-ul-Haq’s hard-baked Pakistan, who have never lost in Abu Dhabi, will be cranking up the temperature on the pasty visitors once again.

Yasir Shah who got back injury during net practice just a day before first Test, was feeling pain during fitness test nad thus team management decided not to risk him in the opening game, as he is the key bowler for Pakistan.

Imran Khan is set to play in his stead. A big blow for Pakistan, who will be without their twirler in chief – the fastest Pakistani to 50 Test wickets and the man England would have been most fearing.

England have also lost one their party to injury, with Steven Finn suffering a foot injury, but they will give a debut to a legspinner of their own – Adil Rashid has been presented with his cap by fellow Yorkie Michael Vaughan.
