2015 : 558 dead, 1007 injured in terrorist attacks so far

ISLAMABAD: At least 558 people have so far been killed and another 1007 were injured in terrorism related events in 2015 so far, Senate was informed on Tuesday.

During the session of upper house of the parliament Interior Ministry briefed the members about law and order situation of the country.

They said that 821 incidents of terrorism have so far taken place in country this year.

The officials further said that ten military courts were established to hear terrorism related cases in the country. The process to establishment of another military court was underway, according to the ministry.

Responding to a question the Interior Ministry officials said that as many as 1313 people have been punished for human smuggling.
