Four suspects of suicide attack on Shuja Khanzada killed

LAHORE: Four suspects who were involved in the suicide attack on martyred Punjab Interior Minister Colonel (retd) Shuja Khanzada were killed in an encounter.

According to details, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an intelligence-based raid on a house in Iqbal Town Division’s Sherakot site, Lahore, Pakistan.

CTD sources revealed that suspects identified as Qasim, Amjad, Saddam and Sadaqat were killed in an exchange of fire with CTD.

Also, four suspects managed to flew away from the scene.

CTD has claimed that suspects were bonded with a banned militant organisation and had supported the Aug 16 suicide attack on Khanzada.

It is to be kept in mind that Shuja Khanzada embraced martyrdom in a suicide attack at his farm house in August this year
