Attack on PAF camp in Peshawar: 6 more terrorist killed

PESHAWAR: Six more terrorists who attacked the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) camp in the Badaber area of Peshwar, have been killed, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Friday.

DG ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa tweeted six terrorists had been killed while the search for hidden terrorists was underway.

Three soldiers of Quick Reaction Force (QRF) including Major Haseeb were injured in the exchange of fire.

The major who was shot in the thigh has been evacuated to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Rescue officials said 20 injured people had been taken to various hospitals for treatment.

The DG ISPR said a clearance operation was underway being led by the Peshawar Brigade Commander with Quick Response Force, Army commandos, local PAF troops and police present outside the base in an outer cordon.
