RAWALPINDI: Peshawar Region beat Karachi Blues by 7 wickets in Cool and Cool presents Haier National T20 cup at Rawalpindi Cricket Ground, Rawalpindi.
According to details, Peshawar Region won the toss and elected to field first and they proved later that their decision to field first was fantastic as they restricted the star studded Karachi Blues to the total of 156 runs and got 157 runs to chase.
Khalid Latif was the top scorer with 40 runs from Karachi Blues side. Imran Khan was the pick of the bowlers from Peshawar side who took 4 major wickets including a hattrick as well.
In reply Peshawar chased down the target very comfortably and easily with 12 balls left in their innings Israr-ullah played a blistering innings of 82 off just 52 balls while Mohammad Rizwan made 40 of 35 balls
Israr-ullah was named man of the match.
