ISLAMABAD – Abbottabad Region on Wednesday beat Lahre Whites with huge margin in their opening match of the National t20 tournament.
Lahore Whites lost the match by 83 runs. Batting first Abbottabad region team scored 198 runs with the lost of only three wickets courtesy Younis Khan and Yasir Hameed’s inning.
Both senior player of Abbottabad region manged to score fifties in quick time. In response, Lahore Whites failed to produce a strong punch and lost all wickets after scoring 115 runs.
Junaid Khand and Yasir Shah picked up two wickets each and Khalid Usman took five wickets.
Abbottabad Region team manage to grab first victory of the tournament.
