M.Phil to be minimum qualification for CSS and PCS

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Planning Development and Reforms of Pakistan has suggested M.Phil as the minimum qualification for Central Superior Services (CSS) and Public Services Commission (PCS) examinations.

According to details, suggestions made by Planning and Development ministry will be sent to Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif for approval very soon.

Ministry told that increasing the qualification for these examinations mean that they want experts from every department to participate in these exams and this decision will be helpful in evaluating the cream from each department.’

Sources revealed that least age to participate in these examinations will be made 30 and the age of retirement will be 60 for the officers.

According to suggestions no one less then age of 30 years will be able to take part in the exams.
