KARACHI: Pakistan’s top rated English newspaper Dawn facing serious criticism on social media over a news it published stating “Pakistan lost terribly in 1965 war.”
Dawn published a news from Karachi in which Dr. S.Akbar Zaidi stated: “With the celebration of the victory in the 1965 war round the corner, there can be no bigger lie that Pakistan won the war. We lost terribly in the 1965 war.”
The news soon went viral on social media and faced major criticism.
Pakistan twiterati set up a trend stating #DawnPawnofModi which soon became top twitter trend.
