Boiler blast in Gujranwala killed five labourers

GUJRANWALA: As least five labourers lost their lives and 32 others injured as roof of a factory collapsed in Gujranwala after the boiled exploded, on Saturday morning, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to police, the laborers were trapped under the rubble after the roof of the factory, located in Gakhar Mandi, caved in as a result of the explosion.

The bodies and the injured persons were taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, police have arrested owner and manager of the factory.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought report from police official and local administration.
