ISLAMABAD – People across the Pakistan celebrating 50th anniversary of 1965 War but many people are unaware of reason behind the war between Pakistan and India.
British media revealed the reasons behind the 1965 war in which Pakistani force successfully defended the Indian attack and pushed back Indian forces and take over several village of ‘Hindustan’.
According to British media, cross firing between Pakistan army and Indian forces in the area of Raan of Kutch led to the mega battle.
The Great Rann of Kutch is a seasonal salt marsh located in the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat, India and the Sindh province of Pakistan.
British media’s report revealed that Indian forces opened unprovoked firing when Pakistani forces completed the project of road that led to the Indian border.
In response to the Pakistani activity, Indian forces constructed check post in the area of Pakistan. General Tikka Khan issued the order to Pakistan army to launch limited attack on Indian forces to clear the area. Pakistan armed forces successfully clear the check post and pushed back Indian forces.
This limited battle started on April 9 that led to the mega battle of 1965 War.
