NEW DELHI: India has officially started to celebrate 1965 war with Pakistan as a victorious event on completing 50 years to this war and these celebrations will last till September 22.
Indian president Parnab Mukherjee officially started the celebrations on Friday by flowering the memorial of War at Delhi Gate in Delhi.
India attacked Pakistan in 1965 after Pakistan deployed 30,000 soldiers in occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan celebrate Defense Day on September 6 of every year while Indians are of the opinion that India won that war.
This is very first time in the 50 years of this war that India is celebrating it as a victorious event otherwise it is considered that it was a draw war.
It is to be kept in mind that Former Indian Air Marshal Kumar has wrote in his upcoming book which will be published on September 1 that Pakistan had gunned-down 35 Indian jets in just two days and also India suffered more than Pakistan.
Modi Government is taking every step to undermine the Pakistan sovereignty and now they are celebrating war victory in which, according to historians, Indian Suffered more.
These days tensions at Indo-Pak border and political unrest between both rivals is at peak.
