SYDNEY: Former Australian Captain Micheal Clark, who has recently retired from International Cricket, said yet he has decided nothing for his future but he has not ruled out Indian Premier League from his future plans.
Clarke has announced his One Day International (ODI) retirement after leading Australian side to win Cricket World Cup for 5th time earlier in the February this year.
He decided to leave Test Cricket as well after a 3-2 defeat in recent Ashes series against England.
Clarke will play Big Bash, Australian T20 event as he has signed a 2 year contract with Melboune Stars.
while speaking about his future in IPL in an interview to Australian Cricket official website he said, “That’s probably one of the things [an IPL stint] I’ve got to think about over the next week or so. What I’m going to do there, am I going to look at that as an option? I’ll spend the next few days trying to sum that up. See where my mind is at, see where my body is at and have a good think about it,”.
It is to be kept in mind that Clarke has not played in any edition of IPL since 2012 where he played from Pune-warriors.
