Pakistan drop down to no.4 in ICC Test Rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan has dropped-down to 4th position in International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings.

England snatched no.3 slot from Pakistan in ICC Rankings after winning historic Ashes series 3-2 against Australia. Pakistan has gone to 4th slot while South Africa and Australia are still holding NO.1 and no.2 slots in rankings.

ICC announced new Test rankings at the end of Ashes series in which England jumped to 3rd slot from 6th position after winning Ashes series against Australia.

South Africa have 125 points, Australia have 106 Points, England have 102 Points. Pakistan can snatch back its no.3 slot by defeating England in the upcoming series in UAE.

ICC also announced Test batsmen rankings in which Australian Steve Smith is leading the list, South African AB devillliers is on 2nd slot, English Joe Root is on 3rd, South African Hashim Amla is having 4th and Sri Lankan Angelo Mathews is holding no.5 slot.

Pakistan has only one Batsman Younis Khan (no.6) in top ten Test Batsmen while Misbah-ul-Haq is on no.14, Azhar Ali on 17 And Sarfraz Ahmed is on 18th slot.

According to New ICC Test bowling Ranking South African Dale Steyn is leading the list, English Stuart Broad on 2nd, New Zealand’s Trent Boult on 3rd and Pakistani Yasir Shah on 4th slot.
