LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI has decided to put Chaudhry Sarwar as their candidate, in case of re-elections in NA-122.
According to media reports, Imran Khan chaired the advisory committee meeting of PTI on Sunday in which re-elections scenario in NA-122 after the verdict of election tribunal ws discussed.
The meeting concluded to filed Chaudhary Sarwar as a PTI candidate in case of re-elections in NA-122.
It should be kept in mind that Ayaz Sadiq from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Imran Khan from PTI were contestants from this constituency in general election 2013.
Ayaz Sadiq have been de-notified after Election Tribunal’s verdict announced on August 21.
The verdict termed NA-122 elections as null and void and ordered re-elections in the constituency.
