Rashid Godil is recovering gradually- Dr Anjum Rizvi

KARACHI: Leader of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) has started recovering gradually in Liaquat National hospital in Karachi, says Dr Anjum Rizvi.

According to hospital officials, Rashid Godil has swelling on neck and soaring wounds, however, he is gradually recovering from its bullet injuries after deadly attack on him on August 17, 2015 by unknown gunmen.

Officials are of the opinion that they will keep Godil in Intense Care Unit (ICU) for 3, 4 more days as they think it’s very early to say anything about his health but from last 24 hours he is breathing naturally and they felt nothing to put him on ventilator again.

They further added that Godil’s blood pressure and heart pace is normal and a team of doctors in leadership of Doctor Salman Fareedi examine him and said we cannot operate him in this condition.

They said he can identify people and has not lost his memory but next 24 hours are very critical for Godil’s health.
