LAHORE: Pakistan wicket-keeping batsman Kamran Akmal says playing for Pakistan is always a passion and whenever I will get the chance to comeback in national side I will perfume up to best of my abilities.
During an interview with pakpassion.net Kamran Akmal said he is in his prime form and doing well in the domestic cricket since last few months but getting a chance to comeback in national side is not is in hands rather it is the duty of selectors. They choose best players which they think are suitable for Pakistan cricket.
While talking about his performance in Carribean Premier League he said I was the part of CPL winning side, Trinidad and Tobbago Red steel. It was great experience to won the title of CPL and it has happened for the very first time in the history of that competition Red Steels have won this title and I scored 60 runs in final which was the morale boosting innings for me.
He said that Pakistan cricket is in rebuilding stages it is moving on right path and youngsters are delivering their potentials to the national side. Captain Azhar Ali is leading from the front which is good sign for national team
He added despite the fact that Sri Lankan tour was very successful but we need to move ahead of it. It was past and now we have to look forward for next challenges, we have to face mighty England side next month in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He furthur said Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan are very talented players and I am not in race with them, my duty is just to perform and leave rest to Allah Almighty and then on selectors.
