SHEIKHUPURA – A suspect involved in girl sexual abuse case has been killed in police encounter near Saggian Pul, Sheikhupura district of Punjab.
According to Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), suspect Muazzam Haroon was addicted criminal and was required to police in 19 different cases including sexual abuse, mobile snatching many different street crimes.
He was arrested by CIA few months ago in sexual abuse case of two girls and was to be convicted after his DNA test report came positive.
Muazzam was shot dead in police custody.
Police officials told that Muazzam was shot while he was trying to snatch gun from on duty officer.
