Attackers knocked car’s window and shot when opened

KARACHI: CC TV footage of attack on Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rashid Godil has shown that attackers first knocked on his car’s window and fired when opened.

According to reports attackers fired eight bullets five of them hit Rashid Godail.

Regarding the incident, the police spokesman elaborated that Godil had left his house along with his wife and driver, adding that he was attacked on street no.3 of Bahadurabad by gunmen on two motorcycles on his return home from a grocery store.

He further said that Godil was shot twice in the neck and thrice in his chest by the attackers who used 9MM pistols.

The initial report prepared by the police also said that the attackers first knocked on the windows of Godil’s car and then fired eight shots.
