DUBAI: India’s uncertain defeat against Sri Lanka has strengthened Pakistan’s no.3 slot in International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Test rankings.
Sri Lanka won the first Test match by 63 runs and took a 1-0 lead in three-Test match series against India and broke their dreams of snatching no.3 spot from Pakistan in Test rankings.
Currently, Pakistan is no.3 in Test rankings with 101 points.
It should be kept in mind that India currently is at no.5 with 97 points and host Sri Lanka is at no.7 in ICC Test rankings but if Lankan tigers white wash India in this series then India will slip to no.7 and Sri Lanka will be promoted to no.5.
