Facebook celebrates Pakistan’s 69th Independence of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – After Google, Facebook also introduced unique feature to lift up the zeal of Pakistani nation on Independence Day.

Facebook came with new addition in ‘celebration’ corner. If you you just click the tab ‘Celebrating,’ the’Celebration Independence Day’ come with Pakistani flag.

Google also continued its customary annual traditions and celebrated Pakistan’s 69th Independence Day with a doodle. It is the fifth consecutive year in which the tech-giant has posted one of its customized logos.

 This year’s doodle is arguably the most elegant of the lot.

This year the inspiration comes from the amazing Lahore Fort, locally referred to as Shahi Qila. It is a citadel in the city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in the northwestern corner of the Walled City of Lahore in Iqbal Park.

Origins of the fort extend far into antiquity but the existing base structure was built during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar between 1556–1605 and was regularly upgraded by subsequent Mughal, Sikh and British rulers. It has two gates.
