Kasur incident reminds serial killer Javed Iqbal who raped 100 children

 

KARACHI  – The Kasur child abuse scandal brought back the memories of Javed Iqbal who raped and murdered more than 100 children back in 1990s.

Javed Iqbal murdered and raped 100 children in era of 1990. According to Javed Iqbal’s confession, he used to dispose of the body of victims in acid drum.

Iqbal’s confession revealed that he targeted children of age between 6 to 16. He was arrested in 1999, when he walked to the office of newspaper   and wrote confession.

Employees called up Pakistan’s military  authorities and within 10 minutes more than 100 security personnel surrounded the building and arrested the culprit.

He wrote in his confession“I have killed 100 beggar children and put their bodies in a container.” He destroyed the lives of more than 100 families.

Almost 80 families confirmed the death of their children from clothes and shoes of their children.

Javed Iqbal was sentenced to death in March 2000 for killing and raping 100 children.

However in mysterious circumstances, Iqbal and one of his two accomplices killed themselves by taking poison at Kot Lakhpat Jail a year after in 2001.

Judge announced the strange verdict in Javed Iqbal’s case which was turned by government and declared the verdict out of law.

Judge sentenced to cut him into 100 pieces in front of affected families.
