Hafiz Saeed files petition against Bollywood movie ‘Phantom’

LAHORE – Chief of Jammat-ud-Dawah Hafiz Saeed filed a petition in Lahore High Court, seeking a ban on upcoming Indian movie ‘Phantom’ for itsĀ ant-Pakistan content.

Hafiz Saeed through his lawyer, advocate AK Dogar pleaded that said Ali Khan’s upcoming movie has “venom against Pakistan and JuD.”

Saif Ali Khan is playing role of Indian agent in ‘Phantom’ and his job is to find Hafiz Saeed and to kill him.

Hafiz Saeed said “The film is about the 2008 Mumbai attack and global terrorism implicating the JuD. Filthy propaganda has been done in the film against Pakistan under subject of the world terrorism.”

Earlier,Ā  India media claimed that Bollywood movie ā€˜Bangistanā€™ was also banned in Pakistan just after its official trailer released.
