KABUL: A suicide bomber blew himself near a Police academy in Afghan capital city, Kabul, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to detail, on Friday evening, an unknown suicide bomber attacked the area close to Kabul Police academy in Afghan capital city.
Suicide bomber was dressed in Police uniform, officials told the media.
According to an international news wire service, the blast happened near police academy gate which has killed many cadets.
“A suicide bomber on foot blew himself up near the academy,” said Deputy Interior Ministry Spokesman Najib Danish.
“Casualties are expected.“ Kabul Deputy Police Chief Gul Agha Rouhani confirmed the suicide attack.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, which come as the Afghan Taliban step up their annual summer offensive despite a bitter power transition within the militant movement.
