ISLAMABAD – Senior anchor person and wife of Imran Khan, Reham Khan, is to start her political career on Friday from Haripur.
Reham Khan will address the political gatherings of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf at Haripur. According to details, Reham Khan will take part in the political campaign of PTI’s ticket holder Raja Amir Zaman who was de-seated under rigging charges.
Reham Khan said that she will support Raja Amir Zaman in her native city. Reham revealed that she will visit her native city after a long time along with family.
She said that journalist should not take part in politics avoiding conflict of interest. She also mentioned that political environment is not good for females in Pakistan.
Reham Khan will arrive at Haripur for a two-day visit on Friday. This is second contest between PTI and Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) after Judicial Commission’s inquiry report.
PML-N nominated Babar Nawaz for NA-19 constituency’s race. Provincial adviser for communications and works Akbar Ayub and his elder brother Yousaf Ayub will also take part in the Raja Amir Zaman’s political campaign.
