LAHORE – Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Shyhryar Khan revealed that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) may be postponed due Master Championship.
The Pakistan Super League, a franchised -base T20 tournament due for its first season in February, 2016 in UAE.
According to details, A T20 tournament for retired cricketers, Master Championship League booked all the major venues during that window.
PCB chairman said that prospects of tournament looked dicey because shifting plan of PSL to Qatar also failed because there is only one stadium of International quality.
Earlier, The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the first season of Pakistan Super League Twenty20 and it take place in the UAE next year.
Five teams will fight for one trophy in UAE. Pakistani players so far played the Twenty20 leagues of India Bangladesh and West Indies.
Pakistan Cricket Board board invited parties to hold the PSL rights. So far six companies that showed interest in bidding. Only two companies showed the capability to provide a bank guarantee of US $3 million before taking part in the bid process.
